The Library Support Services provides advisory and technical information and services to support New Jersey’s libraries in the fulfillment of their mission: law, statistics, advisory services, preservation and emergency preparedness, basic training for trustees and directors, JerseyCat, JerseyClicks, Per Capita State Aid, and administration of regulations. In this section of the New Jersey State Library website, you will find:

  • Library law information
  • Statistics on the State’s public libraries
  • Advisory services to directors and trustees in areas of library administration 
  • Basic training for directors and trustees
  • Administration of statewide access to electronic resources, JerseyCat (interlibrary loan) and JerseyClicks (databases)
